The change in the traditional event of the declaration of winners associated with the opening of the painting competition Maľba

The VÚB Foundations, who announces the “VÚB Foundation - Prize for young artists” during the 15^th edition of Maľba, is approaching the current situation very responsibly.

 

Due to the current "COVID pandemic situation" and state-ordered measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, we would like to announce that the traditional event of the declaration of winners associated with the opening of the works of finalists with the personal participation of finalists, artists, the visual community, the media and other guests will not take place this year.

We are currently preparing replacement solutions. It is important to know that the competition is not cancelled, it will have its winners and the exhibition will be held.

Important information:

• The jury will meet on October 21. You can see the members of the jury here.
• The results will be announced to the public on October 22 2020.
• The exhibition will be open to the public in the Nedbalka Gallery from 23.10 to 22.11 2020.
• Catalogues for the exhibition will be available directly in the Nedbalka Gallery.
